In the heart of Bergslagen, this room is in a private residence. I live here with my 2 cats. Here are the beginnings of a forest garden, flowers and bees. The garden's focus is biodiversity and food production. The original part of the house was built before the beginning of the 20th century and added on later. It has an old-fashioned charm. The upper floor where the room is located was built in the 40s and not much has changed since then. The room is secluded on the upper floor with windows to the east and you are the only guest during the stay. There are two beds, a moon table, two chairs and a clothes hanger. Table fan is available. There is a latch on the inside of the door to lock with. Adjacent to the room is a kitchenette with microwave, coffee maker, coffee measure, kettle, stove and small fridge. There are disposable plates, disposable cups, melitta filter, coffee/tea cups, cutlery, can opener, cheese grater, bread knife and a saucepan with ladle. The cooking nook is suitable for simpler cooking, but above all heating food. Frying food is not permitted in the kitchenette. You have access to the hall on the lower floor and toilet/bathroom. These are shared with me. On the upper floor, you have a room to yourself and a kitchenette in the upstairs hall. The room is upstairs with a flight of stairs. There is no elevator. Two social cats also live in the house, so it's good if you're not allergic. Hot water is available but in limited quantity. If two people want to shower after each other, you have to skimp on the hot water.

I think it's nice to meet many different people and to share my home with them. Here in my place, I like to grow and carpentry. Permaculture and forest gardening are my passion. I am nearby or available by phone during your stay here. I also take care of your dishes.

Nature is close here with forests, lakes and open fields. It is walking distance to see beavers. There are also flea markets nearby and a coffee shop a few kilometers away.
