If you want a peaceful holiday amidst the mountains and not far from places like Bled and Bohinj, then we are the right accommodation for you. Apartments Grad Kamen is located in town named Begunje, in Draga Valley. The name Apartments Grad Kamen comes from the fact that our accommodation is located below castle named Grad Kamen.
Once a mighty castle of the Counts of Lamberg, that origins from the 12th century and had the great role back in time, today still looks magnificent. The castle is perhaps best known because of folk song Pegam and Lambergar, which was sung by the knight Gasper Lambergar, who lived right at that castle.
Begunje offers a wide range of attractions and is an excellent starting point for hiking to the surrounding mountains (St. Peter, Roblek, Begunjščica, Dobrča, Stol, etc.). Recently renovated The Avsenik Museum gives a unique view into the works of Vilko and Slavko Avsenik, who started Slovenian-folk music. Nearby there is also Elan Alpine Ski Museum and if you are interested in World War II and history, you also have a Hostage Museum. Near Begunje you also have Bled, Radovljica, Bohinj and other attraction to visit during your stay.
