Hi everyone. I m Milly, i am 41 and this has been my home for the last 21 years. I moved from the city Kranj so i can be more closer to nature here. I am in love with this city that offers nearby swimming in rivers and not very close lakes like BLED, BOHINJ, KREDA, JASNA... But it is surrounded by local mountains like LUBNIK, KRIŽNA GORA, OSOLNIK and more. So its offering good hiking trails. I am 1.5 km away from the city center, the bus stop and the city castle. The castle and its caffe is worth visiting. Close by (50m) there is a minimarket that is well equipt and next to it a caffe. The neighbourhood is safe and surrounded by family houses. If you make it to the city center, across the buss station there is big free parking for 1h, but you have to print out the ticket. That will give you enough time to walk across the little town of Škofja loka. It is one of Slovenias oldest and midieval towns. On a more serious note - I try to keep the place sparkling clean, but no fairies do the scrubing - hence the cleaning fee (30 euros) which is not included with the price:( And the city tax? Well think of it as your donation to keep the town magical (and the street lamps on). Relax, unwind and enjoy the fresh air with the 3 euros per day per person city tax. Kids above 7 get a discount and citytax is 1.50 per day per kid. Because the mayor also had kids, and gave your kids lower prices:) ALRIGHT, JEAH! Because i am surrounded with good friends and good neighbours i will trust you to leave the money one the table before you leave. Thank you. I hope you like your stay.
