Natural wooden sweetheart is a perfect sweet escape for families, small groups of friends or couples. Our house has maximum capacity of seven people, it is quite comfortable and well equiped. Made fully out of wood - inside and out, NWS offers a unique experience. It's interior feels very cozy and warm. The back garden is ideal for grill, picnic and hangouts with a beautiful view over the valley in sunny weather. We have a few friendly neighbours who live nearby and always like to help out, but will respect your privacy othervise. If you are lucky enough, you might get a surprise visit from the forest starting only few meters away. 🦌
Hi! I'm Žiga and I look forward to hosting you at our holiday home Natural Wooden Sweetheart (NWS). I am an artist, I teach painting classes and also work as a journalist. I would describe myself as a bit of a life enthusiast with great passion for art, cooking and travel. Me and my partner Anja currently live and work in the city of Ljubljana, the capital of Slovenia, so we've decided to rent out our vaccation house on Rogla mountain. So far soo good, sharing our cute cottage to travelers from all around the world turned out great - for them and for us too! 🌲
Located on Pohorje, the house is surrounded by woods and nature in this area really is stunnig. You will find many outdoor and indoor activities all around the year. Take a 15 minute drive up to the top to a popular ski resort Rogla, or a 15 minute drive back down to the city and visit tranquilling spa resort Terme Zreče. Furthermore, apart from numerous possibilities for exploration of slovenian cultural and natural monuments, you may try delicious local cusine. To sum up, this beautiful woodland is waiting for you to come and explore it. The door to our Natural Wooden Sweetheart is open to everybody.
