Our house was built in the first half of the last century with intention to serve as a collection point for local dairy farmers producing cheese. Throughout the years its use had changed several times from a local village shop to flats. As far back as before the seventies the house accommodated its first guests. We, the family Čebasek , have been living here since 1992. Busy raising a large family we stopped taking in tourists. In 2019 we decided to restart offering accommodation and completely refurbished the house, putting in modern bathrooms, specially designed furniture and some details hoping to make the house a pleasant place to stay.
We are the parents of seven children most of them already grown up and some who already left home. As the family we are very much into sports and spend a lot of time outside. The surroundings offer a lot of possibilities for a number of sports- biking, hiking, swimming, kayaking, triathlon, football. In winter we mostly do a lot of cross country skiing and can offer advice as we are into the sport professionally. Next to the house there is a big vegetable garden. All the food we offer is home grown or purchased from local farmers. Staying with as you will able to enjoy the taste of genuine food.
The house is situated in a small village near Bled. A kilometer walk will take you to the Lake and the boats taking tourists to the island. The walk takes you through the village and along meadows and pastures where cows graze. Having arrived at the Lake the road will take you to the center of Bled. Our village lies on the slopes of the JELOVICA plateau above the river SAVA BOHINJKA known for good fly fishing. Another pleasant walk through the woods will take you up to TALEŽ lodge from where you can enjoy wonderful view of the whole area and taste good local food. Those of you prepared for a more serious hike can visit BABJI ZOB and see an interesting karst cave. On the other side from the top of the hill DOBRA GORA you can enjoy pleasant views of the village.
