Welcome to the city of dragons! Your private apartment is located just few minutes away from the old part of the city and Ljubljana's main green area - perfect for recreation & relaxation. The apartment is in former tobacco factory, where, in addition to a number of apartments, there is also an artists' area and various offices, as well as rooms for many other activities (yoga, cosmetics, massages, etc.). The apartment is super comfortable, full of light and fully renovated in December 2020 nad in March 2024. The loft is perfect for three people as it has 45 m2, one comfortable double size bed upstairs and one sofa bed downstairs. You can expect a space with fully equipped kitchen, private bathroom with towels and sleeping area with fresh linen. There is also has a washing machine. The apartment is a part of Old Tobačna building - former tobacco factory still wears some of its old industrial charm. It is a city within a city - full of local businesses, art studios, co-working spaces, loft apartments, food places and a lovely cafe (serving amazing coffee!) living together under one roof. The whole building is under 24/7 security

We are mother and son, Tjaša and Filip, we will be expecting you upon arrival to Tobačna building. There will be maps and recommendations in the apartment, but we will also be available on the phone if you’ll need anything, So it’s a family that will do your best for your lovely time staying in Ljubljana! My name is Tjaša. I have been running a language school in the same building for quite a while and teaching German language there as well. I have tons of hobbies which definitely add to the apartment ambient – among cooking, baking, gardening and collecting different herbs, there is also alternative medicine similar to acupuncture and I am very proud to be a part of Slovenian lace maker's community. I will be happy to share any knowledge I have gathered on mentioned topics :) My son’s name is Filip, he will sometimes be expecting you. He is finishing his studies his PhD in mechanical engineering at the University of Ljubljana. When he’s not in the city, he enjoys nature and travelling, especially up north.

Tobačna factory building is a city within a city. There are so many interesting local makers and artists to visit – co-working space, a wood maker designing beautiful spoons, printing and book publishing studio, a Japanese knives studio and many artistic studios on the top floor just under the roof where you can meet the artists and collect their art. Myself, I am a part of traditional lace maker's community and I have mastered the technique over the years. Directions through the labyrinth? Just ask the security and they will be happy to help. Around the corner you can have your morning coffee and the evening wine at Čin Čin coffee place and bar. Sometimes they will play jazz for you or have a concert of Slovenian musicians. Tobačna is a place of many different people, visitors and locals, although the noise from the street will never bother you. We are located just few minutes of walk from the city center and old part of town where you can find your way up the castle, down the river bank and beautiful park Tivoli. There is a bus stop in front of the building which takes you directly to the main train station. There are stations of city bike Bicikelj rental nearby.
