Hello ! Iam Jamilah a Tanzanian woman with two kids living in Tanzania and also Switzerland. As i worked for some years in the hotel Industry it became my passion to run my own business. We love art and decided to work with the local Tanzanian artists to connect them with our guests and also assisting to increase their income from their artwork by selling their paintings and print some post cards which they can sell.

The Art Hotel is located in the fishing village called Jambiani and one minute walk to the wonderful, white sandy beach. All rooms are very nicely decorated with the wall paintings and other work by our Tanzanian artists. The beautiful white sandy beach is just in the front and there is a cute freshwater pool in the garden... Our kitchen serves always fresh regional specialities as well as international cuisine. We have 4 bright and attractive rooms with the mosquito nets, kettles, safe boxes and of course cold and hot shower. Our family resort is calm and differs from luxury hotels as our personal care and the location in the village on the coast are unique and offer an unforgettable holiday experience.

We are really close to Worldwide Kite Center. Just a walk of about 5 minutes brings you there. Also lots of trees and nature around, sometimes even red monkeys are visiting the neighbouring trees ! There are some bars and restaurants nearby where you can enjoy your international dinner as well as local dishes or a fresh local fruit juice or a glass of wine with other travellers. We are in the middle of the village and are neighbouring to friendly local people from Mfumbwi village thus you are can observe their daily life. Magical evenings at the beach invites you playing football with kids and guests from other hotels... The bright turquoise Indian Ocean is like decorated by old wooden fisherman's boats and modern kites.
