Nice to meet you... Carola & Mado... and also Tatu & Aiden... We are a zanzibari-italian family, with deep roots in the ancient florentine land on one side and the warm sand of Kiwengwa for the other side. Together in dreams and reality we realized our little project, convinced that best way to live the island is reside in it! We built our houses with the heart, tracing and designing every piece, from foundation to roof, from staircases to the interior decorations...we took care with patient of each plant, each flower...to finally watch them becoming a lush garden. We will be pleased/delight to host you and help you if you wish, to discovery and experience in total freedom all secret corners of this fascinating island.

Kamili View lays its first/foundation stone on a crumpled 1000 Lire bill and a brand new one of 1000 tanzanian shillings... it was Valentine Day 2011. After a bit more then one year the building was done and we were flying to Italy to give birth to our second child. 2013... sun and rains during our absence have completed our job, coloring and invigorating the garden... we were ready to start and since the beginning our guests have been happy and satisfied. 2015 we decided for an upgrade and our nice swimmimpool became the soul of the property, where guests meet and kids play!

Kamili View is located in Kiwengwa, the largest village of Zanzibar north east coast, in an area called "Mafarasi", popular for the dozens of local shops, a supermarket, a bank, an italian deli shop as well as kite and dive centers and also a petrol station. In walking distance you can find all what you need, from grocery and cleaning stuff, to Street food. Kiwengwa is pretty central and a good starting point for exploring the Whole Island.
