Tucked among the trees in the scenic Crater Lakes region, this rustic thatched-roof home offers a serene escape into nature. High ceilings, earthy design, and the calming sounds of birds and rustling leaves make it ideal for rest and reconnection.
The home sleeps up to 6 guests comfortably, features a spacious living room, and is just minutes from a quiet forest path and hidden waterfall. It's a peaceful base for exploring local crater lakes, village life, or venturing 1.5 hours to Queen Elizabeth National Park.
Perfect for couples, families, or groups wanting an authentic nature stay.
I'm passionate about creating a peaceful, nature-rich space where guests can relax, explore, and feel at home. After years of dreaming about building a retreat surrounded by trees, I finally brought Flower Hill to life in the beautiful Crater Lakes region.
I love sharing this special corner of the world with travelers from near and far. Whether you're here to explore the waterfalls, visit the national park, or just rest in the many hammocks you’ll find in the garden, I’m happy to help you plan your stay and make the most of your time in nature.
Flower Hill is located in the scenic Crater Lakes region—one of the most beautiful and peaceful parts of Western Uganda. The property is nestled among many fruit trees, giving it the feeling of a mini food forest where guests are invited to pick the fruits that are in season. Guests can walk just a few minutes for a dip at the waterfall, paddle board in the nearby lake or go walking down the many footpaths zigzagging across the community. This is a perfect area for nature lovers, photographers, and hikers.
We’re also about 1.5 hours from Queen Elizabeth National Park, known for spotting tree climbing lions, one among the Big Five. The surrounding area is quiet, rural, and rich in birdlife, with welcoming local communities and fresh air that invites deep rest. It's a hidden gem for anyone seeking a true escape from city life.
