The newly renovated Hangtree House was re-envisioned as a modern mountain retreat- reminiscent of our childhood family cabin experiences but with modern, eclectic and Scandinavian design elements. You will feel the vintage vibe but enjoy many well-appointed common and social spaces, luxury amenities, and cozy interesting sleeping spaces. We love our furry friends and welcome them with open paws. The dining room sports a beautiful custom live edge table for epic family gatherings, the huge deck is designed to take advantage of the tremendous star-gazing, open-air dining, and perfect social gathering, and the lounge area is perfect for Apres Ski, game playing, and staying close to the kitchen while others cook for you! HangTreeHouse is close to Murphys for wine tasting and adult nights out, 20 minutes door to slopes of Bear Valley, 2 minutes walk to Snowshoe Lake for swimming, playing, and floating, a clubhouse with frisbee golf and summertime pool activity, and a perfect jumping off point for hiking and exploring the Arnold Rim Trail, Spicer, and Utica Lake, and the Stanislaus River. But you may not want to leave the house at all-- with board games, ping pong, corn hole, streaming and music, and plenty of spaces to lounge you can easily chill at the house all day, wrap yourself up in a blanket, read by the wood burning fireplace.
