Welcome to "LITTLE HOUSE on the BIG ARB". Inspired by Laura Ingalls Wilder's book 'Little House in the Big Woods' & the old sawmill that stood here way-back-when, Little House is located on Big Arbor Vitae Lake just north of Minocqua, & is about as cozy and charming as it gets. Utilizing 19th to 21st century materials & antiques, plus modern treasures, our tiny cabin concept is perfect for 2 adults or a small 3-4 person family who want to fish, snowmobile or just enjoy the northwoods.
Melissa has been in the northwoods resort business for 10 years and loves every second of it! She owns and runs 8 cabins on Big Arbor Vitae which is her childhood vacation spot. Property manager Renee lives right around the corner.
Situated on Big Arbor Vitae lake, 1100 acres of Class A fishing, All Motorsports lake, 75% of which is state parkland, so no crowds and tons of natural beauty! Famous Slo's Pub is within walking distance, with excellent bar food and libations! In the backyard is historic Mill Pond and directly across a quiet street is gorgeous Big Arbor Vitae lake chock full of Walleye, Bass, Musky, Northern, Crappie, Blue Gill and Perch with Eagles galore flying above.
