Jill and Jim would like to welcome you to the Lil Black Bear Inn. Whether searching for a new experience or looking for a romantic getaway, it's our passion of hospitality and lifelong dream of running a business that drives us towards being the best we can be. After many years of foster care and helping families, our drive to fulfill our dream of running an inn grew stronger each day until we finally established the bed and breakfast in 2016. Together we found inspiration for the inn's name from a daylily grown in Indiana. The name of the daylily honors the late Little Bear - a black Pomeranian. The room names themselves are derived from flowers: The Lily, The Morning Glory, The Moon Glory, The Lavender, The Bluebell, The Petunia, The Iris.

Stay with us for a relaxing getaway, whatever the reason or season. Our six person hot tub is open to all our guests to enjoy and relax. Comfortable bedrooms with custom furnishings and local original artwork, several rooms with private whirlpool spa baths, in-room refrigerators, full breakfast, free wireless internet, satellite TV with flat screen TVs , free parking, central air/heat, player, aromatherapy toiletries in rooms with spas and bottled water. We are also a pet friendly inn. We also offer chocolate covered strawberries, and more… call or email us for pricing. In the morning, awaken to a sumptuous country breakfast, accompanied by juice and gourmet coffee. Breakfast is on the house, of course. We also offer complimentary Homemade baked goods ,Coffee , Specialty teas and hot chocolate. Our goal is to pamper you so you can relax, unwind, renew and recharge.
