Located between Boone and Blowing Rock, At Last, is centrally located to all the High Country has to offer. Within five miles towards Boone, guests are greeted with local shopping and dining, local breweries, parks, the recreation center, and Appalachian State University. Hop on the Blue Ridge Parkway, six miles away, to marvel at the layered mountain views at one of the overlook, or take a hike on one of many hiking trails. Six miles towards Blowing Rock offers outdoor adventures at Tweetsie Railroad, High Gravity Adventures Zip and Appalachian Ski Mountain. Guests of all ages are sure to find their favorite activity.
At Last is a charming two-level log cabin that has two bedrooms and two bathrooms, and can accommodate up to five guests. Guests are greeted with exposed log walls and beams and hardwood floors throughout the home. The living room is equipped with a smart TV and a stacked rock wood-burning fireplace that makes this cozy cabin a romantic getaway. Outside on the covered back porch, the hot tub is the perfect place to relax after a day on the golf course or on the ski slopes, taking in the serine wood setting. Walk down to the fire pit, located below the house, to roast marshmallows and share stories around the fire pit. The eat-in kitchen has new stainless steel appliances and granite countertops with plenty of space for preparing a favorite meal.
This classic log cabin has sleeping for two in the main floor master suite. This unique bedroom has a king bed, exposed log reclaimed wood walls leading into the private ensuite with a free-standing soaker tub and shower. Upstairs, the second suite has a king bed and attached full bathroom. The loft also has a twin sleeper-chair and Smart TV.
Additional amenities include Wifi, central heating and air conditioning, and a washer and dryer. Up to one dog, less than thirty pounds, is welcome with an additional pet fee. The house is accessed via two steps from the gravel driveway.
