Ensconced in a pristine river valley, the barn is oriented to the beautiful meadow behind. Full of light and aery divisions, the barn creates open, connected feelings while still offering numerous nooks for curling up with a good book – either by the coziest mid-century circular fireplace you’ll find, or in specially created hideouts behind stairs, in the loft or game room.
We love greeting our guests and doing what we can to make your stay as enjoyable as possible. Otherwise, we'll be out of your hair doing our own thing (cycling, reading, making art) unless we're needed. We hope you have a great stay!
While in a bucolic, rural utopia, guests can also enjoy the most idyllic rural landscapes in all directions while heading for quaint Hudson Valley towns – Pine Plains, Rhinebeck, Red Hook, Millerton, Hudson, Millerton and Tivoli – all 7- 25 minutes from us. In between are secretive hikes, swimming holes, historic sites and more - just ask us for a best of list!
