Steve and Shawna bought the property in June of 2021. The lure of the beautiful Madison Valley, the historic building that is the Blue Moon Saloon and the amazing outdoor activities of the area made it an easy choice when it went up for sale. The shortage in employees and staffing since 2020 has made it difficult to have the restaurant, saloon and store open as often as we would like but have maintained dinner hours several days a week. We continue to hope this will get better and search for solutions to the problem. Please be sure to call and learn when the facilities are open, as it varies each season based on available staffing.

The Blue Moon Saloon has been in Cameron, MT since 1910 and used to be "the town." In the 40's the six cabins were built by ranch hands in the area and each have their own rustic charm. We have worked hard to create a comfortable stay while keeping the rustic charm. Cabin kitchens, flooring and roofs have all been replaced and upgraded recently. There is a store, restaurant, and saloon on property. Due to the Country wide shortage of employees, please check for days and hours of operation for the restaurant, saloon and store.

Cameron is known for the hiking, fishing, floating the river and hunting and people come from all over the world to visit. Cameron is 11 miles from Ennis and the Blue Moon Saloon is 61 miles from West Yellowstone. The area is surrounded by ranchs and spectacular views. We are just a half hour drive from the historic Virginia City and one hour from Bozeman and the nearest airport.
