New mattresses, TVs, furniture, carpet, and window treatments were added throughout the home as well. The home has exposed timbers in the main living area and an open floor plan. The large dining area offers comfortable seating for 8-10 people at the main dining table with an additional game table and 4 chairs available that can be used for extra dining. Set on a double lot, Brigadoon has large wraparound decks with a propane gas grill, a picnic table, and a swing overlooking a spacious backyard and mountain views beyond. The flat backyard has a large bonfire-style fire pit and is great for children. There is a long-distance, mountain view that is visible from the living area, the kitchen, and the back deck. The home is located between Boone and Banner Elk and is close to major attractions in the area. Hawks Nest Zip Line and Snow Tubing are less than a mile away. The house is just a short drive from Sugar Mountain Ski Resort, Grandfather Mountain, trout fishing, hiking, and more.
