Hi. My name is Martina. I am the owner and day to day manager of Door County Stay, a local company that offers five high quality, five star rated, vacation rental homes in the Baileys Harbor Area of Door County. I started renting my first home, Carraig Mor, about 15 years ago. It was not your normal Door County Cottage, it was my home and was rented as such. Travelers really appreciated having the comforts of home away from home. I have since added four more properties. I have only recently started using Booking. I have hundreds of five star reviews. I look forward to working with Booking and their clients and would like to extend a personal invitation to you to come stay at one of my properties. As mentioned above I own five properties in Door County. I manage them myself. These are the only properties I manage. After you make your reservation you will receive my personal mobile number and email and you will talk to me directly. On rare occasions when I am unavailable, I will give you the contact information for a local trusted partner that will assist you. Thank you for your interest in my properties and I look forward to hosting you in the future.

Baileys Harbor:
Located on the eastern shore of the Door County peninsula, Baileys Harbor has always been considered the quiet land. We have over 6,000 acres of public lands prime for blazing your own trail and reconnecting with nature. Our sandy beaches give way to the mighty waters of Lake Michigan, ideal for catching air on a kite board, reeling in monster salmon or trout, or discovering shipwrecks and the rocky shoals that claimed them. Get your history fix by discovering our four lighthouses accessible by foot or boat tours. Get a bird’s eye view by racing your friends on a zip line tour soaring through the tree tops.
Baileys Harbor was rated no. 13 Comfiest City in the US for Travelers in 2016 by Expedia and in 2018 Architectural Digest said Baileys Harbor is the Prettiest Town in Wisconsin!
Fish Creek:
From the native logs used to build Asa Thorp’s cabin, to the carefully gathered stones on the walls of the Stenzel gas station, the historic structures of Fish Creek reflect the character and lifestyle of its pioneers. Simple and sturdy, the buildings were erected in the 1860’s through the turn of the century. The center of the village has over 20 of these monuments to a colorful and remarkable heritage. We invite you to stroll along our streets . . . “tarry” in yesteryear . . . and discover the tiny lumbering and fishing port that became a popular boom-town resort community.
Downtown Fish Creek is easily walkable! The entire downtown area is approximately a mile long and is scattered with shops, restaurants, galleries, and lodging establishments. Street parking is available throughout town and, if you’re looking for a central place to park and walk, the new public parking lot is in the middle of downtown! The lot is located behind the Community Center at 4097 Main Street. There’s parking for large vehicles such as campers and RVs along with plenty of car spaces.
