Relax at this airy second floor guest house in the hills, surrounded by beautiful trees. With over 1,000 square feet, two bedrooms and a pull out couch, a fully equipped kitchen, and a large balcony with bistro set, its cozy and spacious with everything you need! A retreat styled home overlooking the pool and property. The outdoor spaces are shared with my family, & downstairs tenant. Swim and lounge by the pool, enjoy the propane BBQ, play corn hole, & enjoy the newly renovated turf courtyard! This guest house is located in the hills of La Mesa, situated behind the front home, on an acre of property. It's the second floor unit, above the downstairs guest house. The area is quiet and peaceful, and set back from neighbors and the road. You'll take the long driveway up to the home, and park in your designated space. Upon entering using contactless, keyless entry, you'll take a flight of stairs into your home away from home. The first bedroom, with a double bed, is at the top of the stairs, loft style, with a clothing hutch. The bedrooms are on opposite ends, with the living area in between, providing nice privacy for couples traveling together. Through the first bedroom is the door leading to the rest of the home. There is a patio overlooking the pool and property, which spans the length of the home, accessible from both bedrooms and the living room. The second bedroom, with a queen bed, closet, dresser, and smart TV, is at the far end of the home. The kitchen is well stocked to provide everything you'll need to enjoy home cooked meals, as well as a coffee station. The living room has a queen size sofa bed, with extra bedding provided in the hall closet, a smart TV, DVD player, games and movies available. The bathroom has a tub/shower, with towels, soaps, and a hair dryer provided. You have access to a coin op shared laundry room. The pool is not heated, so typically not used in the winter. Travel crib, high chair, and baby bath upon availability.

Centrally located in the rolling hills of San Diego County, La Mesa is known as the Jewel of the Hills. A near perfect climate, tree-lined streets, walkable neighborhoods, easy access to retail and commercial areas, and a quaint downtown village make La Mesa a highly desirable community! It is about a 15-20 minute drive to all of San Diego's main attractions - the Zoo, Seaworld, Coronado Beach, Pacific Beach, Mission Beach, Downtown, Petco Park, and the SD Convention Center. Driving is the best way to get around.
