During their move, they stumbled upon this charming historic home in the heart of downtown Tacoma—a hidden gem that had clearly seen better days, but still radiated character and potential. Originally converted into seven apartments during the Great Depression, the home felt like the perfect place to breathe new life into while also opening its doors to guests from near and far. They saw not just a house, but a story worth preserving—and sharing. Though still a work in progress, Matthew and Desyrai are lovingly restoring the property, blending thoughtful renovations with its original 1901 beauty. Their goal?
