Enjoy our cozy family cottage, located on a quiet cul-de-sac street in Alexandria, Virginia with free on street parking and metro accessibility. Just a short drive to downtown DC, our charming cottage offers 4 br and 2 ba, perfect for the whole family to unwind and reconnect. The cottage is located near DC attractions, sports arenas, military bases, several corporate headquarters and DCA airport. With its warm and inviting interiors, any multi-generational family can enjoy quality time together!
We are a fun-loving family of four who have proudly called Alexandria our home for over 15 incredible years. We absolutely adore this area, with its vibrant community and impressive array of activities and attractions. When we're not busy hosting our amazing guests, you can usually find us fully immersed in our passions. Our family's calendar is often filled with soccer tournaments, fostering dogs, and unquie family outings! Don't hesitate to reach out and let us help you make the most of your stay!
Our neighborhood is an older one with a mixture of renovated and older cottages (under renovation), but very quiet and pleasant. There are no McMansions here, just cozy little abodes. You will find a mixture of faces and families here out pushing strollers or walking their dog! We are conveniently located of two exits of Rt. 95. (exit 176 and 177) We suggest 176 as it takes past the Metro Stop on your way to our home) It's approx. a 10 min walk to the Huntington Metro Station which is the yellow line train. The Fairfax Connector also picks up at this metro stop! Uber and Lyft are fantastic options in this area as you can easily get to bustling nightlife at The National Harbor (10mins), Historic Old Town King Street (10 mins) and downtown DC (15-25 pending traffic) The closest airport is Regan National Airport DCA which is approx. 15-20mins.
