We are a fun-loving family of four who have proudly called Alexandria our home for over 15 incredible years. We absolutely adore this area, with its vibrant community and impressive array of activities and attractions. When we're not busy hosting our amazing guests, you can usually find us fully immersed in our passions. Our neighborhood is an older one with a mixture of renovated and older cottages (under renovation), but very quiet and pleasant. There are no McMansions here, just cozy little abodes. You will find a mixture of faces and families here out pushing strollers or walking their dog! We are conveniently located of two exits of Rt. 95. (exit 176 and 177) We suggest 176 as it takes past the Metro Stop on your way to our home) It's approx. a 10 min walk to the Huntington Metro Station which is the yellow line train. The Fairfax Connector also picks up at this metro stop! Uber and Lyft are fantastic options in this area as you can easily get to bustling nightlife at The National Harbor (10mins), Historic Old Town King Street (10 mins) and downtown DC (15-25 pending traffic) The closest airport is Regan National Airport DCA which is approx. 15-20mins.
