Charlotte and Peter Ott are the new owners of the Cheney House Cheney House is an 1895 Victorian B&B set on 3 acers of open fields that are soon to be the home of an organice orchard and bounties of organic vegtables that will be incorporated into your morning breakfast. Breakfast consist of farm fresh eggs, seasonal local fruit, home made baked goods, organic coffee and tea. Charlotte has worked as a personal chef and can accomidate your food sensitivies. A variety of hiking trails offering spectacular views are within walking distance Little Squam and Squam Lake for boating and kaykaking are a short drive. Ashland public beach is just over the covered bridge. The original Common Man restaurant is a half mile walk Inspire coffee shop doubles as a yoga studio and is a half mile walk Owners are happy to offer customized suggestions to make the most of your stay
Charlotte has been a natural food chef since 2010. She was head chef for Shoals Marine lab on Appledore Island in Maine for 7 years. Peter has work in IT since the 90s. Charlotte is also a yoga teacher and Functional Wellness expert.
Ashland is in the central part of New Hampshire, at the foothills of the White Mountains and the gateway to the lakes region. If you want the peace and majestic quiet of the woods. Get away from it all. There are several great hiking trails nearby, one right up Highland Street (walking distance from the B&B). For music lovers the Bank of NH pavillion is a great place to see your favorite bands.
