The Econo Lodge hotel is an ideal stop for travelers visiting the Great Smoky Mountains, Pigeon Forge and Knoxville. This hotel is close to Fort Loudon Lake and the Lost Sea, America's largest underground lake. The McGhee Tyson Airport, West Town Mall, the University of Tennessee and the American Museum of Science & Energy, Nestled near two lakes, this Tennessee hotel is located outside of the congested tourism areas and downtown districts and offers easy access to Interstate 75. Tellico Village, overlooking Tellico Lake, is only four miles from the hotel. Several golf courses are close by, including Cedar Hills Golf Club, Landmark Golf Club at Avalon and the Executive Meadows Golf Course. A variety of restaurants can be found in the area; Ruby Tuesday is walking distance from the hotel. Guests will enjoy the free continental breakfast and free local calls. Unwind by the seasonal outdoor pool. Fax service is provided for business travelers. All rooms include amenities like wireless high-speed Internet access, refrigerators, hair dryers, coffee makers and cable television. In addition, whirlpool bathtubs are featured in some rooms.
