Warm Springs is one of the base areas of Bald Mountain (Baldy) located about two miles from downtown Ketchum. Situated on the north side of the ski mountain, it’s part of Ketchum but separate from the retail areas. During the winter, if you’re looking to be close to the lifts, this is a premier location. You are within walking distance of the Warm Springs Day Lodge. The Challenger Lift, will get you to the top of Baldy in ten minutes. Stop back in on your way home for some fun après activities. Apples Bar, which is one of Sun Valley's favorite après ski bars, is located next door to the lodge. In the summer, this area is relatively quiet and ideal for the visitor who wants to be able to retreat from the busier area of Ketchum. Cast a line in the Warm Springs Creek, which eventually connects to the Big Wood River in Ketchum. Continue 6 miles west on Warm Springs Road for a relaxing soak in Frenchmen’s Bend natural hot springs.
