We are retired and have been married for 51 years. We are both Arizona natives and have lived in this Phoenix area for many years. We lived in Flagstaff, AZ for 35 years, including the time we attended Northern Arizona University. We love Arizona, and enjoy talking to guests about the many things there are to see and do.

Encanto Estates is a midcentury neighborhood in the center of Phoenix. Although you will probably chose to drive to most locations, there are 2 municipal golf courses open 7 days a week, and a large, lovely 75 year old park with canoeing and paddle boat rentals, as well as a Kiddieland that is open on weekends and holidays. The park and golf courses are less than a mile away. Several grocery stores and pharmacies are close also. We are located near several city bus stops. The free lightrail park and ride lot is close also. The lightrail stops at several downtown locations, avoiding pricey parking garages. It currently goes as far as Tempe and Mesa. We will provide maps for all public transportation.
