Climb aboard your Private Jet and enjoy this Douglas DC-9 converted into a full 3 bed / 2 bath house!
Complete with full kitchen, bathroom, sauna and wing deck. Hangout in the cockpit and have a beer in the captain's chair, or grill up some Salmon and Steaks on the wing deck overlooking the private runway. Fly in luxury with heated floors, lounge in the belly cargo (kid's room), or kick back and enjoy the big-screen TV in first-class (living room).
This was once a real, functioning cargo jet that flew countless miles around the world before being meticulously renovated into a fully-functioning home. You'll climb aboard up a flight of stairs through the private jet ridge. You'll find your washer and dryer there and a hallway to access the Master Suite, full bathroom, and guest bedroom, as well as the Kitchen moving forward, living area, dining room, and Cockpit. There is also a kids room access via a small ladder down into the belly cargo area with a twin mattress.

The runway separates your private aircraft from the other rental cabins located on our property giving you privacy and quiet!
While it is an active runway, we generally have only 5-10 flights per week and all during daylight hours.
We're about 10 mins from restaurants and grocery stores, 15-20 minutes from "the city".
The property has trails for walking in the summer and cross country skiing in the winter. We connect to a large network of snow machine trails around Big Lake.
You can go ice fishing, dog sledding, and snow machining all within minutes of the property.
In the summer we offer air tours, glacier tours, bear tours, and fishing all direct from the property.
Ask your host if you have any more questions about things to do on your trip!
The property is easy to access from the main road even in winter. Roads are paved and snow plowed, and it is about an hour drive to downtown Anchorage.
