Perched on a 2.4-acre plateau on the public side of beautiful sought-after Lake Anna, this custom-built log home offers impressive scenic vistas of Contrary Creek! This prime location is within a short drive of Lake Anna State Park, which offers swimming, boating, and hiking options. History buffs can visit the Mineral Mining Museum to learn about the area's mining history. Outdoor enthusiasts can take a leisurely stroll or bike ride along the Heritage Trail, enjoy fishing and picnicking along the shores of Lake Anna, or attend local events and festivals, such as the Mineral Bluegrass Festival.
As soon as you enter this solid log home, you are greeted by a splendid open floor plan complete with high vaulted ceilings, hardwood flooring, and a wall of windows ushering in tons of sunlight. The logs you see are Douglas Fir logs that were harvested from the mountains of British Columbia and brought here. A floor-to-ceiling stone fireplace adorns the great room and offers endless coziness during the winter months. Curl up on the inviting sofa and get ready for a tranquil and entertaining evening streaming favorite series and movies on the smart TV with streaming services. When mealtime comes around, prepare culinary masterpieces in the well-appointed kitchen featuring premium oak raised panel cabinetry, solid granite countertops, a matching granite center island with bar seating, and stainless steel appliances that will make cooking a breeze. From this level, you can easily access the home's wraparound deck with impressive panoramic views of the lake and numerous seats. This spot is excellent for watching eagles nesting, ospreys diving for prey, or herons wading while hunting for breakfast.
The fully finished walkout basement boasts a sunny family room/rec area with a gorgeous stone fireplace, plenty of board games, a bumper pool table, and access to a wraparound patio with seating.

Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a damage waiver fee which covers you for up to 3,000 dollars of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. Due to local laws or HOA requirements, guests must be at least 25 years of age to book. Guests under 25 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian for the duration of the reservation.
