We are in the Fourmile Recreation area (BLM surrounds our home) with nearby Railroad Bridge (known for gold panning and fishing), the Midland Tunnels, Elephant and Turtle Rock, and the Arkansas River (famous for rafting, kayaking and fishing). The San Isabel National Forest, Colorado’s playground for adventure, is right here. Boosting twelve 14,000’ plus mountains, three natural hot springs, many lakes and tributaries, the Arkansas River, and Brown’s Canyon National Monument. The quaint town of Buena Vista has become vibrant with many exceptional eateries, bakeries and coffee shops, bars and brew pubs, music venues and shopping.
