Vacation Home Management
Vacasa unlocks the possibilities of how we enjoy vacation homes. We take care of managing our homeowners’ vacation houses so they can have peace of mind (and their home when they want to). And our guests book vacations confidently knowing they’re going to find exactly what they’re looking for without any surprises. Each vacation home is always cared for by our professional local teams who implement our high cleanliness and maintenance values, while the hands-off tasks of vacation rental management--marketing, filing taxes, and maintaining a website--are handled by a specialized central support team. Our passion and focus remains true: to empower our homeowners, guests, and employees to invest in vacation.
宿泊施設の情報
Situated on a private, 64-acre mountainous parcel on the outskirts of Whittier, NC, Gap Creek Cabin was built by Jim & Terry Altman - and family - in 1971. The cabin continues to be owned and cared-for by the family. Located in an area known as Deep Gap, and bordered on two sides by spring-fed, mountain creeks, the area inspired the cabin name.
Accommodating up to 6 adults, a recently renovated kitchen, bathroom with a shower, large front porch with a bench-swing, and an outside deck for grilling, relaxing, and enjoying the creek adds to the mountain-living experience. There is also an outdoor shower (with hot & cold running water), a separate, outside 1/2 bath, and a laundry room. A large fire-pit invites fun evenings spent under the stars and the property’s 64 acres offer hiking adventures and plenty of privacy. Guests are encouraged to bring hiking boots, a compass and camera - and to remember that the mountains are habitats for area wildlife.
Although off the beaten path - along a private, gravel road - Gap Creek Cabin is only a 10-minute drive down the mountain to the beautiful Smoky Mountain Country Club, Whittier, NC, and reservations for tee-times are welcomed.
The cabin is also within a 20- minute drive to the entrance of the Great Smoky Mountains National Park, the breathtaking Blue Ridge Parkway and the culture, arts and crafts of Cherokee. Nearby Bryson City offers craft breweries, restaurants and outdoor activities including Nantahala River White Water Rafting and the Great Smoky Mountain Railroad.
Also nearby, the charming, small downtown areas of Dillsboro and Sylva. From tubing Deep Creek to kayaking or hiking, there are many outdoor activities for visitors to this popular western North Carolina area.
During the holidays, the family-friendly “Polar Express' steam-train ride offers a unique family experience and is reached in less than 25 minutes from the cabin.
