Welcome to the Hilltop Hideaway, nestled in the heart of downtown London! This family-friendly 3BDR/1BA apartment has a private entrance and parking. Partially surrounded by woodland and a charming downtown view, this cozy home is conveniently located to restaurants, shopping, parks, and within a short driving distance you can enjoy many natural attractions the area has to offer.
I'm a single mom of 5 adult married children and grandmother of 12 beautiful babies all under age 9! I decided to rent out my apartment after becoming an empty-nester. I enjoy hosting visitors and meeting new people. Your host is just a phone call or text away! For local info - I'll leave a list of my favorite places to visit within the apartment.
This home is located atop a hill overlooking downtown that rests beside a forested area where deer may be seen grazing. Just outside your door is a historic Federal Courthouse and easy sidewalk walking featuring lush hanging flower baskets and greenery. Downtown London has been named a "Garden City" and the "Cycling Capital of Kentucky." Just a "stone's throw away" is The Grind for a quick coffee, or a delightful lunch. Across the street is "Weaver's on 4th", a London treasure with the best hotdogs around! Our Vice President recently stopped by for a chili dog! On Main is The Abbey for dinner, or (our favorite) on Broad Street is Sauced:Craft Pizza. Local Honey is a new restaurant that has had rave views. On the other side of Main St. is Butcher’s pub with great food and live music.
