an authentic log cabin home and is our little hidden gem. It is located in the Canyons on beautiful Lake Whitney. It has 2 bedrooms, one downstairs, 2nd upstairs loft and 1.5 bath. Fully equipped kitchen (pantry items not included), full size washer & dryer. located at the end of a no outlet street surrounded by trees, backing up to a ravine. If you like to hike or just explore, there are man made trails behind the cabin. There is a neighborhood cove located just a short drive from the cabin, it is great for swimming, fishing or kayaking. This property does not accommodate large boats due to the amount of trees and the narrow dirt road turning into narrow circle driveway. Pet friendly with an additional fee. please let me know you will be bringing any pets. The cabin is naturally insulated, while it has AC/heat it can be cooler or warmer depending on the season. No loud music, quiet time is from 9pm-7am. Fireworks are not permitted on the property.
The Canyons is located on beautiful Lake Whitney. Very quite neighborhood that has mostly retired families that live here. You will find a lot of land, which is great for walking or hiking. The neighborhood is great for biking, just be sure to bring your own bike. The cove is a short drive from the cabin, it is a wonderful place for swimming and kayaking. There are a few stores within a 10 minute drive or you could drive on over to Whitney (about 20 minutes). There you will find a grocery store, fast food, gas station, few restaurants, retail stores, Tuckers lumber & Ace hardware. Anything you need, you will find there. For those wine lovers, there is a Winery within a short drive from the cabin- Big Rock Winery. Emergency care- Healthnow Urgent Care 200 N San Jacinto st, Whitney 76692
