Welcome to your lakehouse log cabin retreat! Just 2 hours from NYC, Amber Lake Chalet is on 19 secluded acres including a serene lake and private hiking trails. This 4 season lakehouse weaves cabin feel w/ modern convenience and aesthetic, ideal for remote workers, a family vacation or romantic getaway. The property is on 19 acres (including part of Amber Lake!) with hiking trails, and has private access to Amber Lake. It's just minutes away from downtown Livingston Manor and Roscoe with great restaurants, shopping, breweries, antique stores, a public art studio and world-class outdoor attractions like Beaverkill River (famous for trout fishing!), Sonoma Falls, covered bridges and state parks. See our guidebook for more information on the many local attractions. Amber Lake Chalet is best accessed with a car. There is plenty of free parking for multiple cars on-site in the driveway, or on the street. In the winter, be aware of frozen ice and a windy road leading to the cabin, and also be mindful of deer crossings.
