Welcome to the BLACK SQUIRREL INN built in 1906. This 3 bedroom, 1.5 bath house is centrally located 1 mile from Downtown & Knox College. Whether you are in town for work, for a family function or to see your child play sports at Knox College; we provide everything you need to feel "at home" during your stay.
My husband and I love to travel to new spots in and out of the USA. We enjoy sports, live music, outdoor activities, seafood and a good brewery. We fell in love with historical Galesburg. IL in 2020 when our son started Knox College; and bought our first airbnb! We made a decision moving forward that we wanted to share our love of travel with other people by having a few airbnbs in historical areas.
We may not be in town during your stay but will be available through the app if you have any questions or concerns. We also have a team in Galesburg to help us manage our home!

There is plenty of parking in the long driveway and also street parking in front of the house. The house is close to two main streets that will take you to downtown.
