Historic downtown Montgomery is only 1.7 miles away and is a short distance from Sam Houston National Forest. Lake Conroe is 5 miles away. You can rent boats, jet skis and world class fishing, dine on the lake. Hiking and camping is available at Sam Houston National Forest. The city is easy to get around.
