Magical Mountain Riverfront Retreat aka Misty River Cabin is a Secluded Cabin for couples and families to relax, unwind, and re-connect! With unmatched views of the river and mountains, you can start your day watching the sun rise from a comfy, King-sized bed. Then spend the days trout fishing from the private dock, tubbing or kayaking the Toccoa River, Paddle boarding Lake Blue Ridge, pick apples at Mercier Orchards, explore the local sites in Blue Ridge Georgia, whitewater raft the Ocoee River, or just chill out watching the abounding wild fora and fauna. The fully stocked chefs kitchen has all you need to cook a gourmet meal and gather with family to recall the days adventures. As evening arrives, you can turn off the lights and enjoy dark skys with s'mores or a glass of wine around the fire or stargaze from the hot tub! We have done our best to provide you with all of the amenities so you can concentrate on the Simple Things in Life!

The Magical Mountain Riverfront Retreat aka The Misty River Cabin is located down a privately maintained gravel road with the the Toccoa River and private dock right in the front garden. The location is both secluded and close to may attractions--with McCaysville Georgia being a short 7 minute drive and 20 minutes to Blue Ridge Georgia. The Toccoa River-reported to be the best Trout fishing in Northern Georgia-is fed via the Lake Blue Ridge Dam and the Tennessee Valley Authority. Typically, the river flows slowly in the morning and much faster in the afternoons; however, there are several variables including the weather that impact the river flow. Additionally, the Horseshoe Bend Park a three minute car ride away has wading pools & jungle gym. The unobstructed views of the river and the mountain meadow across the river with the Scenic Blue Ridge Railroad tracks just beyond allow for unparalleled bird watching and stunning flora and fauna. While there are many cabins nearby, they are all tucked away, so that one feels quiet and in touch with all that Mother Nature has to offer. While a few vehicles pass by on the gravel road, most of the traffic is the floats and kayaks variety.
