Mary Joy and Tom Lynch are the proud owners of The Market Street Inn. Over the last 20 years they have worked towards fulfilling their lifelong dream of having a second career of owning and operating a Bed and Breakfast. In September of 2017, that dream came true! Together, they assure each and every guest a unique experience, making sure to attend to all your needs. The Inn's dog, Molly, can be aseen coming and going throughout the day or enjoying the patio with us. Molly never turns down a good petting! Molly and her 2 partners in crime, Shelby and Mr. Bates, who you won't ever see, reside upstairs with us. So, to those allergic to pets, not to worry!

Located in downtown Wooster, our Bed and Breakfast is an 1896 historic landmark. The three-story Victorian features original woodwork, hardwood and parquet floors, spectacular period stained-glass windows, and restored embossed ceilings. The Inn has been a Bed and Breakfast since 1995, serving the community, especially the College Of Wooster. Each of the 5 rooms in the main house have PRIVATE baths, 3 of which are en suite and 2 are located in the hallway. We also have a two bedroom suite off the back of the house for the larger groups or those who don't want to use alot of stairs. This suite has a small area which hosts a refrigerator, coffee and tea maker etc.
A hospitality room is located on the second floor for those guests which contains a full size refrigerator, coffee and tea , water etc. We DO NOT allow cooking or preparing food. We discourage eating meals in your room, we prefer if you bring any food in that you use the dining room or the outside patio area.
The front porch is a great spot to relax with a cup of coffee or glass of wine (glasses provided). The 2 parlors are great for conversations with old friends (or new) or playing cards or a board game.
