A Romantic Retreat for Two – Welcome to Maurrocks, Your Pocono Hideaway
Designed with couples in mind, Maurrocks is a charming, adults-only inn tucked into the heart of the Pocono Mountains. Whether you’re celebrating a special occasion or simply escaping together, our lovingly restored grand home is the perfect backdrop for connection and relaxation.
Enjoy cozy mornings with a chef’s-choice breakfast made from fresh, local ingredients. Throughout the day, help yourselves to complimentary wine, chocolates, fruit, and Maureen’s irresistible baked treats—always available, always included.
Spend your days exploring the Poconos or simply unwinding on one of our peaceful patios, sharing a glass of wine by the fire ring, or relaxing in our vintage-filled common rooms.
Located just minutes from Routes 80 & 380 and within walking distance of the Mount Pocono bus station, we’re easy to reach—even without a car. Ride-shares like Uber are available.
Please note: there are two short sets of stairs at the entrance (one can be avoided by crossing the lawn), and all guest areas are on the main floor.
Maurrocks is more than a place to stay—it’s a place to reconnect. We can’t wait to welcome you both.
Welcome to Maurrocks -- A Pocono Mountains Bed & Breakfast Inn!
Owned and operated by Maureen and Tom, we love welcoming guests into our cozy home, which often serves as the heart of family and neighborhood gatherings. We’re both passionate about cooking and enjoy preparing delicious meals and baked goods for our guests.
Tom’s background in hospitality—growing up managing his family’s Pocono resort and owning a restaurant—means you’re in caring, capable hands. Our goal is simple: to make you feel at home while helping create the kind of getaway that’s just right for you.
Whether you're seeking quiet and privacy or a friendly chat over wine or coffee, we tailor the experience to your comfort level. Tom works from home in his first-floor office and is usually nearby if you need anything.
We’re avid hikers and nature lovers, happy to share our favorite local trails, hidden gems, and off-the-beaten-path spots in the beautiful Poconos.
Outside, relax in our large yard, shaded patios, or blooming garden spaces, filled with flowers, fruit trees, and herbs. It’s the perfect place to unwind together.
MUST LOVE DOGS! Our sweet rescue pups—Bella, Jax, and Lizzy—may briefly pass through guest spaces on their way to the yard, where they enjoy squirrel patrol and sunbathing.
Please note: We welcome up to two adults per room (age 27+); no children or pets permitted.
“Relax, You’re Our Guest!”
