The house is an early 20th century Arts & Crafts style triplex, original details intact, original woodwork, oak floors and bathroom tile. House was freshly renovated in 2018 and received a new kitchen, refreshed bathroom. We live on the other side and a tenant lives below. This is not a party house, we're looking for guests who will enjoy our home and neighborhood. At least one of the guests must be over 21. Late check-in is fine, as the door is operated with a code and not a key.
I'm a mid-50s IT Manager from New Orleans, LA. We live next door, and are happy to provide information. A list of local restaurants and information is provided.
The neighborhood is a beautiful mix of classic New Orleans houses and new construction. Lots of restaurants and bars within walking distance. Just three blocks from the Canal St streetcar, very convenient to the French Quarter, City Park/Jazz Fest, downtown. Parking is included in front of the house. Easy access from I-10. Canal Street streetcars are just close by (taking you to City Park or downtown and the French Quarter). Biking in New Orleans is easy because it's very flat. The city has a bike share program and there is a rental spot a few blocks away.
