About your host, Renee: In 2015 I traded the heat, humidity and hills of Austin, Texas for cool Rocky Mountain air! I love Colorado-living in every season and spend my free time mountain biking, snowboarding, and exploring new trails. Although it was a bike race that first introduced me to Leadville, the friendly atmosphere & big mountain views are the reason I made it home. If you’ve spent time in this humble little town you know what I mean! Co-owner of Big Buckle Mountain Homes, I I live with my partner Amber and boxer Lucy in the backyard tiny house behind the Lodge at Leiter. We live just one block away and are readily available by text/phone if you need anything.

Near the Leadville Series race starts, bike park/dog parks, ice rink, Nordic trails and a short drive to Ski Cooper or Copper Mountain. 45 min to Vail or Breckinridge. Dog friendly (no cats) and perfect for one or two couples or a small family getting away to the mountains! Ideal for work-from-homers with weekly and monthly discounts.

Ideal location for your Leadville vacation, this is a quiet downtown neighborhood, just a short walk to shops & restaurants on Main Street (Harrison). One mile from Safeway. Just blocks from the Mineral Belt trail, dog park, bike park, ice rink, tubing hill, and more.
