An hour from Seattle, Mt. Pilchuck River Cabin is a riverside studio retreat at the base of Mount Pilchuck. With a private hot tub, barrel sauna overlooking the river, and covered firepit, this cabin is designed for relaxation and adventure in every season.
The open-concept layout includes a plush queen bed, a cozy sitting area with fireplace, and a fully equipped kitchen with counter bar dining. Large windows bring in natural light and frame views of the forest and river. Modern comforts like fast Wi-Fi, plush linens, and mini-split heating and cooling ensure a comfortable stay year-round.
Step outside to soak in the hot tub, then unwind in the barrel sauna as the river flows just below. Evenings can be spent around the firepit, stargazing, or simply enjoying the peaceful setting. Whether you’re hiking in summer, rockhounding in fall, or snowshoeing in winter, Mt. Pilchuck River Cabin is the perfect basecamp for your Pacific Northwest getaway. The cabin is located in the Verlot community along the Mountain Loop Highway, directly next to the Rusty Bridge and the South Fork Stillaguamish River. Guests enjoy private river access and quick drives to iconic hiking trails including Lake 22, Heather Lake, Mount Pilchuck Fire Lookout, Gothic Basin, and the ghost town of Monte Cristo.
The neighborhood is a quiet mix of rustic cabins and permanent residences within the USDA Forest Service area. Visitors find a welcoming community spirit, with a backdrop of mountains, forest, and the ever-present river.
