Our brand-new log home is the perfect base for your Colorado mountain vacation! You’ll find space for up to ten, with four bedrooms, three bathrooms, and two living areas. Halfway between the Winter Park ski resort and Grand Lake, the gateway to Rocky Mountain National Park, you’ll find plenty of outdoor recreation in every season. At the end of the day, get away from it all and relax in the hot tub or on the spacious wrap-around deck and enjoy unparalleled Continental Divide views.
I live with my husband and our two boys. I've been skiing for my entire life and count many outdoor pursuits among my favorite activities. My family has been skiing at Winter Park for many years but we really fell in love with Grand County during a several month stay there in 2020. Building our dream mountain home has been a grand adventure and a labor of love. We know you'll love it too!
Winter Park Highlands is a quiet mountain neighborhood with county-maintained roads. Our secluded home sits high in the neighborhood on over an acre of land that looks east for gorgeous Continental Divide views. Grand County is home to a wide array of outdoor adventures for all seasons, and our house is centrally located among them. You'll find plenty of opportunities for downhill skiing and snowboarding, nordic skiing, snowshoeing, hiking, mountain biking, golf, and water activities, just to name a few. You can be on the mountain for your ski day at Winter Park Resort in about 20 minutes (or slightly longer if you choose to park at Mary Jane). Other nearby activities and amenities: - The town of Winter Park is 15 minutes away. - Grocery stores are located 13 minutes in either direction (towards Winter Park or Grand Lake). - Ski Granby Ranch is 15 minutes away. - The Grand Lake entrance of Rocky Mountain National Park is 40 minutes away. - Granby Lake and Shadow Mountain Lake are approximately a 30 minute drive. - Grand Lake is 35 minutes away.
