Welcome to our sea front spacious 3 bed/2 bath (1700 sqft) family and kid friendly beach house at Little Florida Beach! With spectacular ocean view, our retreat is the ideal place to relax and unwind. Near "Peveto Bird and Butterfly sanctuary". Slice of paradise on the almost-private beach and neighboring Holly Beach with all the delights of being on the beautiful Louisiana coastline. Just 8 minute drive from the Bayou convenience store and gas station that's open every day from 5 AM to 11 PM.
Sabine National Wildlife Refuge and Sabine Lake, Calcasieu Lake offers ample opportunities of day trips and boating (accessible from boat ramps minutes away from this property). Also, only this Beach house in the entire area has a unique location in that it backs into the "Peveto Bird and Butterfly sanctuary", a 40 acre sanctuary on the Creole Nature Trail that's home to 2 million birds. Enjoy the nice walking trails and the bench seats under live-oaks in the sanctuary.
The Johnson Bayou Recreation Center ( 135 Berwick Rd, Cameron, LA 70631) is 5 miles away. The small cafe has excellent food with very reasonable prices. Cash only. Ice cream cones for 1.00. A large pool with 3 slides and a diving board and wheelchair lift for accessibility makes it a very enjoyable time for the entire family. A splash pad is open year round as well as a large playground A full gymnasium can also be enjoyed in winter or rainy days. A work out room and a playroom full of toys for kids is also available. Nice large showers and restrooms are always clean.
