In the heart of the city! Pershing Place is a lovely historic home, equipped with all the amenities you need and a backyard retreat with an 11x6 ft tiny pool to cool off in during warm months or enjoy heated in the winter.
The classic charm of this 1920 San Antonio craftsman home mixed with modern style and conveniences will create a fun, welcoming retreat for your vacation.
The home is across the street from the Witte Museum, the San Antonio Zoo and Brackenridge Park. The Pearl, golf and downtown are all 5-10 minutes by car.
The spacious living room has room for the whole family, and our dining room table is big enough for 8 people. We have a classic mid-century modern bar as well. We have games on hand for you to enjoy.
The full-sized kitchen with island includes all items you need, from cookware, utensils, a blender, a coffee maker, coffee and much more.
The bedrooms include TVs and plenty of pillows, blankets and accessories, such as a sleep machine, to keep you comfortable.
Escape into the jungle-like backyard for outdoor fun all year, with outdoor seating, BBQ, and even a heated small lounge pool! (This is smaller than a pool but larger than a spa.)

We love living in San Antonio! Our city is full of wonderful people and amazing destinations. We also love to travel and explore to other cities, and we know how important it is to have a fun vacation. Our goal is to ensure that all of our guests do as well. Restoring and maintaining historic homes is something that is important to us, too, and we love finding historic gems around the city that guests will enjoy staying in.
Our home is located in Mahncke Park, which is an urban historic friendly neighborhood in the heart of San Antonio! Alamo Heights and Terrell Hills are very close.
We are steps from Broadway Street, where you will find some of the best San Antonio destinations. Our home is right next door to a fantastic BBQ place call the Smoke Shack, which has the best brisket you can find in San Antonio! Sometimes the Smoke Shack or the Pigpen (it's outdoor BBQ garden) has events, but the activities stop early, and it is such a blast if it is open! We provide sound machines, if you like to go to sleep very early!
You can walk across Broadway to the Zoo, the Japanese Tea Gardens or Brackenridge Park and picnic near the river or enjoy the bike/hike trails or some golf! The Witte Museum is directly across the street, and the children's museum, the DoSeum is close, along with the Botanical Gardens.
The Pearl is just down Broadway, to the left, 5 minutes by car. Downtown is just past the Pearl.
Central Market offers groceries nearby. Some of my favorite restaurants include The Hayden, Cappy's (for brunch) and Cheesy Jane's Diner.
Incarnate Word is 1/2 mile away. Trinity University is a mile away.
