Hi, we're a mom and dad with two young kids living in Santa Cruz, CA. We love to travel and host and we love vacations full of adventure, community, and relaxation. We love the outdoors. The cabin we host in the mountains is great for adventurers, families, artists, writers, and vacationers alike. It's a home from home for us and we hope it can be for you too! Conveniently located near Pinecrest Lake, Dodge Ridge Ski Resort, and a few hours (currently 2.5 hours due to road conditions) drive from the awe-inspiring Yosemite National Park, this is the perfect destination for your mountain getaway ❤️❤️❤️❤️

Sierra Park is a peaceful gated community. On-site is a small fishing and swimming lake, basketball & volleyball courts, a picnic area, children's playground, and a sledding hill in the winter. Pinecrest Lake is 15 minutes away for hiking, fishing, paddle boarding, horseback riding, and during the summer months, outdoor movies at the Pinecrest Amphitheater. Twain Harte is 12 mins away - a sweet town with a variety of restaurants, shaved ice, mini-golf, and a community pool. Dodge Ridge Ski Resort is 20 mins away - 67 trails, 12 lifts More close-by winter fun includes Ice skating at Long Barn and Leland High Sierra Snowplay. You can experience the Gold Rush era at Colombia State Park, 30 minutes away. Black Oak Casino is 15 minutes away for gambling, bowling, arcades, live music, and great food options. Other options include Moaning Caverns, Calaveras Big Trees, wine tasting in Murphy's and fly fishing in the Stanislaus River.
