Our mountain cabin is warmly and elegantly decorated by Christine with her French flair and refinement . Every details have been carefully thought so your stay will have you experience a Chambre d ' hôtes in the French tradition .
If you love the outdoors you have found the perfect location . We are right on the New River and you can fish from the river bank . You can bring your bike and start a nice and easy 20 miles ride on Railroad Grade Road ( flat ) . If you are a strongest cyclist , you will find challenging rides that you can start from the Inn .
Numerous hikes are possible at a short driving distance as well as kayacking and tubing .
Or just come to River ' s Edge to relax and enjoy our beautiful yard and porches . We have several comfortable chairs for you to enjoy .
Tom retired from UNC Chapel Hill 3 years ago and with his French wife Christine decide to move to Todd . They spend some of the winter and September at their home in Provence . Tom is the outdoor man and would be happy to discuss cycling , kayacking , hiking , tennis etc ....
Christine is a gastronome and a fine cook , she also loves gardening and decoration and will be happy to talk about her beautiful country , France
We live in a very quiet neighborhood , perfect to relax and decompress from your busy lifestyle . And you can fish , bike , kayack and hike right from the Inn .
