Bear Cloud cabin is located 5 miles south of downtown Blue Ridge, convenient to Hwy 76. Blue Ridge is a charming town full of great restaurants, shopping, orchards, vineyards, breweries and enough activities to keep your family and friends entertained your entire stay. The cabin is only minutes away from the Benton Mackaye Trail, various waterfalls, lakes and rivers if hiking tickles your fancy! Or you can just stay in the cabin, look at the mountains and enjoy being away from it all. You can have the best of both worlds at Bear Cloud cabin! This location has it all! Nearby areas to explore: Head south to the nearby town of Ellijay known for numerous festivals, more great restaurants and antique shopping. Want to try your luck at the tables? There is a new Harrah Casino in Murphy, North Carolina about 30 miles north of Blue Ridge. The cabin is ~20 minutes to up and coming towns of McCaysville, Blairsville and Copperhill TN. Bear Cloud is located 2 miles off highway 76. The last 1 mile contains gravel roads in sections with 2 moderate hills. Most cars do perfectly fine on the roads but AWD makes it easier. Maintain a steady moderate pace when going uphill on gravel roads.
