I grew up in India, a land of diverse languages, cultures, and terrain, and lived in the United States as a software engineer all my adult life working and traveling. I have been a wanderlust all my life. I enjoy traveling to new places, meeting new people, trying new cuisines, and experiencing different cultures. It all changed when I became the mom of my beautiful twins. I turned from being a traveler to becoming a host recreating my travel experiences for family and friends at home. My philosophy can be summed up in the ancient Sanskrit phrase “Athithi devo bhava” which has profound significance in Hindusim and India. Atithi is a guest who can visit us at any time. Devo Bhava means God-like. Thus, Atithi Devo Bhava indicates that we must consider our guests equivalent to God and care for them. Welcome to Vista Verde, a stunning 4-bedroom, 4-bathroom mountain oasis that will take your breath away. This luxurious vacation home is the perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. With panoramic views of the mountains, you will feel rejuvenated and relaxed in no time. It promises a secluded retreat immersed in the dreamy mountain ambiance close to the town of Waynesville, NC(6mi) and Asheville, NC(28mi). ✔ Open concept living with 4 Bedrooms ✔ Rec room with arcades and games ✔ 2 Decks (Hot Tub, Lounge Areas, BBQ, Outdoor games) ✔ 2 dogs allowed for a fee of USD150 per dog ( max 40 lbs each) ✔ Free Parking ( 2 in front of house + 3 to 4 in driveway ) Things to note: ★ Renter must be at least 25 years of age. Guests under the age of 21 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian at all times. ★ Driving Conditions: Like most in the mountains, the road up to the house and then down to our driveway is a little steep and our driveway is curved. All wheel drive is recommended, especially if there is any expectation for ice or snow. ★ Pets: WELL BEHAVED dogs are welcome with a separate non refundable pet fee of USD150 per pet per stay. Max of 2 pets allowed, 40 lbs limit for each. Please clean after your dog and keep our backyard ready for the next guests. ★ We have high speed internet available. But please understand, we are at the mercy of the local internet provider, and it is subject to unplanned/ unexpected outages. ★ All TVs are smart TV’s on which you can use your subscriptions. We request you to bring your own passwords (BYOP) ★ Heat pumps produce a buzzing noise and are very common to houses in this area because they provide both heating and cooling unlike regular air conditioning units. The sound is louder in the winter when they are working to produce heat. If this bothers you, we have sound machines in every bedroom to help dampen outside sound. ★ Fire extinguisher in the laundry room shelf. ★ All linens/bath towels are provided.
