On this gorgeous piece of tree-lined property, you'll enjoy a view of the lake across the street, easy access to the water at area parks, and a shaded back deck for afternoon lounging. This two-story home sits on an expansive piece of property, just about a mile down the road from lake access at Cedar Creek Park. Spend your days fishing, swimming, kayaking, or getting out on the water via one of the local marinas. Lake Whitney State Park and McCown Valley Park are both within 11 miles, offering scenic stretches of lakeshore to take in. Everything about this home feels like an ode to nature, from the carved log staircase to the floor-to-ceiling stone hearth. Lofty ceilings and a wall of windows fill the great room with sunlight, creating a wonderful space to curl up with a good book, a great movie, and a roaring fireplace in the evenings. Spend summer days on the covered rear porch, watching your kids play in the yard out back. Light the gas grill for a barbecue dinner, dine alfresco at sunset, and dip inside only to pull dessert from the well-equipped kitchen. When it's time to turn in, you'll find one bedroom on the main floor, one bedroom plus a sleeping loft upstairs, and a sofabed in the living room.
