Howdy! My name is Steven and I, along with some awesome partners, created The Container Retreat @ 290 Wine Trail. We wanted to create a peaceful and relaxing place for people to stay while visiting the Texas Wine Country and provide a unique experience for our guest. My partners and I are neighbors and share the same passion for for the Texas Hill Country and believe it is one of Texas' greatest treasure.

Welcome to The Container Retreat @ 290 Wine Trail! The perfect place to stay as you explore the beautiful Texas Hill Country and its amazing wineries, parks, shops and people. We are happy to share our special getaway with you and truly hope you enjoy it as much as we do.

The peace and tranquility are amazing, and we are right in the middle of over 50 Texas Hill Country wineries. We have four within walking distance that you can begin to enjoy as you settle in: Blue Lotus Winery and Silver Dollar Winery to the east and Untamed and Freedom Cellars to the west. So, whether you are looking for a quick getaway or a home base while you attend one of the many festivals and events in the surrounding areas, we are the right choice. Our 20’ containers are arranged in pods of five surrounding majestic oak trees and lush landscaping with just enough ambient lighting to make it relaxing and comfortable. If you want to hang out, just walk over to the common area where you will find open space, chairs, a hammock, and our custom Container Retreat cornhole boards. Couples’ getaway, check! Girl’s weekend, check! Bachelor or Bachelorette parties, check! Whatever the occasion, we are the right choice. We have eleven other listing and can accommodate groups of up to twenty, with more containers available soon.
