After you’ve sampled the local food and drinks—many grown right here in this top- producing agricultural region—and shopped at our many independent boutiques, head out into Pure Michigan natural beauty at our gorgeous beaches, trails, and state parks. Nearby Oval Beach was ranked by Conde Nast Traveler as one of the top 25 best shorelines on the entire planet! Rent a watercraft or take a dip in sparkling, immaculate Lake Michigan, then climb our mountainous sand dunes to shady wooded trails.
